The story

How it went

Black Hat is where the research crowd and the operations crowd briefly occupy the same air. We spent most of our time listening — to talks, to vendors, and especially to analysts describing the alert debt they carry home.

We came back with sharper language for what 'human-in-control autonomy' means, and a few photos that somehow make Las Vegas carpet look like set dressing.
